These story has gone on and on and on and it is now tiring! And as if that is not enough of course my favourite TV chanel over here has take it upon themselves to make this a continuous feature. Trust me there is no other news and nothing more important.

I do no condone violence in any form on anyone. But now men want to boycott their women's food because a few women have beaten their partners? So even if you house is in order you will go eat somewhere else just because your neighbour was beaten?

What men obviously are forgetting here is a woman does not wake up one day and slap her partner around, you know the way men do it in this country every minute without a reason; just because you are a man. Just this saturday at Choices we are having a drink everybody looks happy and merry, this very neat looking guy walks past us and sits on the table this other lady was on. 1minute later the man is slapping the lady like nonsense!!! 

For a woman to physically harm a man it is because she has had enough! She has her back against the wall, and it is something she has thought about extensively. Aren't there counseling institution in this country that you can urge these couples to go to and try to solve their problems amicably, you really think that boycotting your wife's food you are solving your domestic problem?

So instead of boycotting your woman's meal (the most stupid thing i have ever heard) why don't you open centers where you can counsel your folk and teach them how to be responsible husbands and partners and treat their women like the queens they are?

Am not even going to go to the little bit that a woman dies in this country every day in the hands of a man. Just the other day a journalist murdered his wife, the news died in 2 days flat. Never heard a boycott there from the men folk. 

But the very worst of this is, a large number of kenyans have decided this is all so funny and hilarious and we can all make jokes about it, make funny pictures and joke and post them everywhere. Shame on us!
